Atop the mountain, the newly renovated Westin Bear Mountain offers luxurious accomodation for guests. Beauty and wellness treatments at the accredited spa, and upscale dining at the hotel's restaurant are not to be missed. 

The North Langford Recreation Centre provides a variety of health and wellness opportunities for all including a fitness center, and a year-round, heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The poolside patio, and local pub are excellent places to refuel, or convene with friends and family, while the corner grocery market is ideal for restocking.

Featuring Canada’s only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf, the resort is home to the Canadian training center of Golf Canada's National Development team. Plans are also in the works for a professional disc golf course.

Long known as a mountain biking mecca, the community's extensive trail network offers world-class riding for all levels, and is home to the Canadian National Mountain Bike Team. When fully built out, the trails will total fifteen kilometers of west coast single track, sweeping flow lines, and scenic climbs.

Supported by Tennis Canada and Tennis BC, the resort offers residents access to Canada's largest indoor/outdoor red clay court tennis facilities, with its first state-of-the-art bubble opening in October 2018.

Amenities & Transportation

Residents enjoy quick and direct connection to the recently upgraded Island Highway, and the resort is serviced by local transit.

Proposals for a mountain gondola and a helipad with regular charter flights are also in the works.

Millstream Village, north Langford's commercial hub, is just moments down the mountain, featuring a variety of restaurants, national chains, and boutiques.

Schools

Langford is serviced by School District 62 Sooke. This growing school district represents over 10,000 students, offers dedicated athletic, international, and aboriginal programs and is comprised of 26 schools including 18 elementary, 4 middle, and 3 secondary schools.

Located in the Western Communities of Greater Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Bear Mountain straddles the City of Langford and the District of Highlands amongst the foothills of nearby Mount Finlayson.
